I am delighted to announce, effective January 1st 2023, Supermax Healthcare Limited will be expanding its operations in to Europe with the opening of our new distribution centre in Roosendaal, The Netherlands.

The new facility provides the logistical capacity required to support future growth and remove the complexities caused from Brexit in Cross-border trade between the UK and Europe. This will ensure efficiencies in our service levels and export costs that will only benefit our loyal customer base.

This presents a significant opportunity to continue to grow the Aurelia brand across Europe, and European expansion remains a key pillar in the Company's growth strategy.

For Supermax Healthcare, our customer base in Europe has, and continues to be of great importance to us and we thank you for the support that you continue to provide. This key milestone will only serve to benefit the valued partnerships we have in place with yourselves and will enable us to continue to grow together in the future.

Earlier this year, and in line with one of our core values, Compassion, we introduced a new initiative in which staff could take an additional 3 days annual leave a year to go out and work within their community; or for a charity that is close to their heart.

Our colleague Jak, who commits to over 500 hours of voluntary service a year whilst helping to run/coach at a local non-profit Amateur Boxing Club, has recently taken advantage of this new initiative and trained for a continual 24 hours. Whittlesey Amateur Boxing Club focuses on the development and mentorship of children within the local community; and like most grassroot sports is run solely by volunteers. We have recently, and proudly gifted the club a defibrillator; which was essential in keeping the club operating.

Staff from across the business came together and raised an INCREDIBLE £600 in support of Jak, and a total of £4800 was raised during the event; securing the future of the club for another year.

Group MD, Jonathan Judge and son Harry popped down the club to show their support, providing much needed energy drinks and fizzy sweets - they also jumped in the ring for some fun on the pads. 

As well as being in Dusseldorf for Medica, we will also be in Paris, exhibiting at Porte De Versailles for Expo Protection 2022, 15-17 November, 09:00-18:00. The show is focused on the challenges faced by risk prevention and management professionals, not only across France, but wider Europe - we look forward to showcasing our diverse, and ever-growing Aurellia disposable glove range.

Not only is this the first time exhibiting at Expo Protection, it is also our first time exhibiting in France. Terry Swinney, our European Sales Manager will be in attendance alongside our Area Sales Manager for Scotland, and the North of England, George Payne.
